Job Title: Research Coordinator / Research Consultant

Location: Bhubaneswar & New Delhi, India (Remote / Hybrid / Project-based)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Research Coordinator / Research Consultant to support and manage social, policy, and development research projects. The role includes research coordination, proposal support, mobile-based data collection, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end research projects (qualitative & quantitative)
• Support proposal writing, concept notes, and research design
• Manage and monitor mobile app–based data collection
• Supervise field teams and ensure data quality, timelines, and protocols
• Conduct data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation
• Prepare high-quality research reports and presentations
• Coordinate with clients, NGOs, government departments, and partners
• Ensure ethical compliance and documentation

Desired Profile

• Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, Economics, or related fields
• 3–7 years of experience in research, evaluation, or consulting projects
• Experience working with government, NGOs, and/or international agencies preferred
• Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills

Key Skills

• Mobile app–based data collection & management (ODK, Kobo Toolbox, Survey CTO, CSPro, etc.)
• Data cleaning and analysis (Excel, SPSS, Stata, R, NVivo – preferred)
• Research methods (quantitative & qualitative)
• Report writing and presentations
• Project coordination and stakeholder management
