Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator (PC)/ Senior Project Coordinator (Sr. PC) for Sustainable/Climate Resilient Agriculture will be implementing and managing activities that focus on building climate resilience in agriculture. The role requires experience in sustainable agricultural practices, project management, and community mobilization. The PC/Sr. PC will work closely with stakeholders, government agencies, institutions, and local communities to ensure successful implementation of program activities.

Responsibilities

• Project Implementation & Administration: Plan and implement climate-resilient/ sustainable agriculture programs and projects, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives.
• Documentation: Maintain records of data, documents and correspondence related to project/program.
• Project Monitoring: Track and monitor project activities and progress.
• Reporting: Prepare, review, and distribute project reports.
• Support: Assist the line Manager in delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, as required.
• Data Analysis: Gather and analyze information to support project development and implementation.
• Partnership Management: Develop and manage partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Organic Certification: Work on planning, plantation, organic certification documentation, and support inspection.
• Field Visits: Visit project areas and monitor organic practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture (preferably in Vegetable Science) or Post-graduation in Agri-business/Rural development/Social work or a related field.
• Communication: Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Organization: Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Reporting: Proficient in reporting with good monitoring and evaluation skills.
• Accountability: Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
• Adaptability: Flexible, highly motivated self-starter.
• Language: Fluency in written and spoken English and the local language.
• Knowledge: Understanding of organic farming practices.

Reporting Structure- This position reports to the Project Manager.

Additional Information

• Travel: Open to travel as required.
• Compensation: Up to 3.6 Lacs per annum 

(compensation package will be in line with qualification, experience, and last salary drawn).
