THD is going to hire Field Coordinator position for the project Indigenous Aromatic Rice supported by Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment in Kalahandi and Sambalpur District.

Post – Field Co-ordinator

1. Responsibilities of Field Coordinator under Indigenous Aromatic Rice _
She/he shall

• Responsible to Submit the Annual Progress Plan to CDAO cum PD ATMA and State Professional Agency.
• Conduct the Baseline survey and farmer selection for Kharif and Rabi Season
• Responsible for Prepare Seed indent list and submit to CDAO
• Receive and disbursement of seeds to farmers and to maintain stock entry and distribution list of farmers.
• Prepare annual training calendar for all trainings and communicate to concerned persons.
• You have to do Capacity Building of Farmers by adopting improved agronomic Practices with organic method/system.
• Responsible for regular follow-up to farmers for Improved agriculture Practices and practice of organic method/system.
• To ensure usages of organic liquid manure ,Bio-fertilisers, and other organic growth promoters.
• Distribution of Bio-fertilises and Bio Inputs to all the Beneficiary
• Regular file visit and to collect GEO tag photo and vedio documentation.
• Responsible for initiation of Crop Cutting and preparation of crop cutting reports.
• Follow up all the farmers and to create awareness for Value addition and marketing.
• To Initiate the Market Linkage Process through the income generation of Beneficiary under the Program..
• Submit monthly financial expenditure statement to CDAO cum PD ATMA and State Professional Agency..
• Submit the Documentation required for technical and financial sanction of funds for Program Implementation.
• Submit an annual audit statement of expenditure to District and State Professional Agency at the end of financial year.
• You have to monitor regularly for successful production, marketing of bio-inputs among the farmers.
• Monitor Cluster & group formation, farmer mobilization.
• Organize &conduct training &exposure visit of all Resource persons inviting external resource persons.
• Collect farmer member’s feedback and design training modules as per need.
• To Prepare and Submit Final Farmers List and incentive list as per the guideline of Project
• To Coordinate with Block Agriculture officer for smooth implementation of the program with time to time reporting.
• Submit the Production list to Chief District Agriculture Office.
• To initiate market system along with Kanak Bio Science towards benefits of Farmers.

Eligibility Criteria ( Field Coordinator ) under Indigenous Aromatic Rice project

• Master of Social Work / Agriculture or allied Fields or a Post Graduate / Humanities with good communication skills in English and Odia along with computer skills.

AND/OR

• Graduate from any discipline preferable with minimum 3 years of experience in promoting farm-based livelihoods, Agriculture , market-based interventions and promoting producer institutions along with ability to engage with farmers and community institutions.
• The Candidate should be able to collaborate with relevant stakeholders / agencies to improve coordination and programme delivery on the ground
• Can speak, write and read odia and English language, Computer proficiency with presentation skills is essential.
