State Program Coordinator (Odisha)
• Location: Bhubaneswar (with field travel as required)
• Qualifications: Postgraduate Degree from a reputed institution with a strong academic background (Schooling).
• Experience: 8–10 years in project management within the social development sector

• Skills Required:
o Strategic planning and execution
o Field Data Management, analysis and reporting
o Coordination with government departments and stakeholders at state and national levels
o Leadership and team management
o Partnership building and donor communication
o Corporate-level presentation skills (PPT) in English/Hindi

• Age: Below 40 years as of the application deadline

• Salary: Competitive based on qualification and nature of experience and at par with other leading state-level non-profit organizations
• Reporting to: Strategic Program Adviser

Core Responsibilities

1. Program Implementation & Supervision
• Oversee effective implementation of the Dettol School Hygiene Education Program and Harpic School Sanitation Program across project districts.
• Regularly monitor program activities to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Consolidate field reports and communicate key insights to the Strategic Program Adviser and donor.
• Conduct capacity-building sessions for District Project Coordinators (DPCs), with a focus on innovation and digital inclusion.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to DPCs to promote independent and effective district-level operations.
• Encourage innovation and adoption of best practices, particularly during non-operational periods like school closures.

2. Reporting & Knowledge Management
• Prepare and submit monthly progress reports in standardized formats, including Excel and Global templates.
• Document and share case studies, best practices, and digital content to highlight program impact and learning.
• Align program outputs with donor expectations and contribute to donor communications and visibility.

3. Performance Management & Organizational Development
• Evaluate and provide feedback to DPCs to ensure continuous performance improvement.
• Support the implementation of organizational development strategies including program outreach, brand building, and stakeholder engagement.
• Promote cost-effective approaches across all aspects of program delivery.

Key Deliverables
• Effective execution of WASH and other aligned programs across project districts.
• High-quality monthly reporting and documentation aligned with donor and organizational standards.
• Leadership in building a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability in line with AJ Foundation’s mission and vision.
