Reporting to: Chairman
Work Timing: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Monday is weekly holiday)

We are a Bhubaneswar-based mission driven NGO having decade long legacy to empower street children by facilitating access to education, protection, and reintegration into society. Through our community centers and school-based interventions, we aim to create a safe and supportive environment for children living on the streets to grow, learn, and thrive.
Position Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Programme Manager to lead the overall coordination, implementation, and monitoring of our Street Children Empowerment Programme. The Programme Manager will supervise Community Center Educators, School Coordinators, Training & Curriculum Manager, interns and volunteers. This role involves 360-degree programme management including planning, reporting, stakeholder coordination, team leadership, and effective data and documentation oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
A. Programme Coordination & Strategy
• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the programme across all intervention sites.
• Develop annual work plans and ensure timely execution of programme activities.
• Align programme objectives with organisational vision and community needs.
B. Team Leadership
• Supervise the team of multiple professionals; provide mentorship, training, and performance management support.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and a results-driven culture.
C. Reporting & Documentation :
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of programme activities, success stories, and case studies.
• Oversee compliance with donor reporting requirements and internal documentation standards.
D. Stakeholder Coordination :
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools, government departments, child protection units, and community leaders.
• Represent the organisation in multi-stakeholder meetings, forums, and collaborative platforms.
E. Monitoring & Evaluation :
• Oversee data collection, entry, and analysis to monitor child progress and programme impact.
• Design and refine tools for performance tracking and feedback mechanisms.
F. Database & Knowledge Management :
• Maintain and regularly update the programme database (child profiles, enrolment data, follow-up records, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and use of digital tools for efficient management.
G. Training & Curriculum Oversight :
• Collaborate with the Training & Curriculum Manager to ensure quality education modules tailored to street-connected children.
• Support capacity building of frontline staff through workshops and mentoring.
H. Budget & Resource Planning :
• Assist in budget preparation and oversee efficient utilisation of programme funds and resources.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
• Age must be 28 years and above.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, Public Administration,   or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in programme/project management, preferably in the  child rights or education sector.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience in report writing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong computer proficiency including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and basic database tools (e.g., Excel dashboards, MIS systems).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Odia.
• Knowledge of child protection issues, RTE Act, and education systems is a plus.

Remuneration :
Monthly consolidated remuneration will be 30000-32000 Rupees based on the qualification and experience. EPF deductions shall be applicable as per standard norms.
Travel Allowance  will be applicable as per the existing policy of the organization.
