AboutAaina:
Aaina is a not-for-profit organization based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, working since 1998 towards the inclusion and empowerment of persons with disabilities, women, and children. The organization operates across several districts of Odisha on issues related to education, livelihood, gender equality, and social inclusion.
Aaina invites applications from qualified and committed professionals for its newly sanctioned project, to be implemented in the Bhanjanagar Block of Ganjam District, Odisha, starting from 1st December 2025.
We are looking for dedicated individuals and professionals with relevant experience and passion to contribute to inclusion and empowerment initiatives of persons with disabilities.
Program Manager – 1 Post
Qualification:
Post Graduate in related field with MSW/Sociology/Rural development/Rural Management– Preference will be given those who have Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT),Master of Physiotherapy(MPT), Master in Public Health, or Degree/Diploma in Education for Children with Disabilities.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in handling similar programs in Managerial positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee project implementation in coordination with the Aaina management team.
- Develop and execute project work plans, budgets, and monitoring systems.
- Supervise project staff and ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
- Should have a working knowledge of MIS and M & E
- Liaise with local administration, stakeholders, and funding agencies.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for timely submission to APF and Aaina.
2. Thematic Coordinator – 1 Post
Qualification:
Post Graduate in MSW or Sociology.
Preference:
Diploma/Degree in education for children with disabilities.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields; past experience of working with children and parents will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thematic and technical support to the field team.
- Conduct capacity-building sessions for staff, parents, and community members.
- Develop IEC/training materials related to disability inclusion.
- Monitor field-level interventions and documentation.
- Support the Program Manager in drafting reports and data compilation.
3. Physiotherapist / Occupational Therapist – 1 Post
Qualification:
Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor in Occupational Therapy (BOT) Master in Physiotherapy (MPT) and Master in Occupational Therapy (MOT) from a recognized institute.
Experience:
2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably his/her involvement in therapy for children with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical and functional assessment of children with disabilities.
- Provide therapy sessions and rehabilitation support as per individual plans.
- Train caregivers, staff, frontline workers and parents in home-based therapy techniques.
- Maintain detailed therapy records and progress reports.
4. Speech Therapist – 1 Post
Qualification:
Bachelor of Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology (BASLP) or Master of Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology (MASLP) from a recognized institute.
Experience:
2–3 years of experience in relevantfield will be given added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapy for children with speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with the team.
- Train parents, care givers, frontline workers and educators in communication improvement techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy progress and outcomes.
5. Special Educator – 3 Posts
Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in Special Education in any of the following disciplines:
- Visual Impairment (V.I)
- Speech and Hearing Impairment (SP/HI)
- Intellectual Disability / Cerebral Palsy (I.D/C.P)
Candidates with MSW/Sociology with 2–3 years of experience in the disability sector will be given added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess children with special needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct remedial and inclusive education sessions.
- Work closely with families, schools, and therapists for child development.
- Document progress and contribute to project monitoring and reporting.
Accountant – 2 Posts
(1 at Head Office, Bhubaneswar & 1 at Bhanjanagar Field Office)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) with specialization in Accounting or Finance; knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and GST compliance essential
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in NGO or project accounting
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain books of accounts as per organizational and donor requirements
- Handle vouchers, receipts, and payments
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and fund utilization reports
- Ensure compliance with audit and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with project team for budgeting and fund management
- Maintain separate accounts for Head Office and Field Office expenses
