About WASSAN:
WASSAN (Watershed Support Services and Activities Network), Hyderabad is a network-based organization focusing on improving the quality of mainstream programs in natural resources management and livelihoods. It engages actively in policy advocacy initiatives at the State and National level, mainly related to rainfed areas. WASSAN has contributed substantially to the development of watershed policies in various states and at the Government of India. WASSAN is also working with various partners in different States as part of the RRA Network on rainfed agriculture-related agendas.

Agenda of Recipe Improvisation & Documentation:
1. Analysing existing millet recipes (tentative list annexed).
2. Recipe standardization and improvisation as per the market feedback.
3. Documenting the recipe improvisation techniques.
4. Support video documentation / blogger coverage of the recipes at the Cafes/Outlets.
5. Work closely with concerned women self help groups to execute the improvised recipes at the Millet Shakti Cafe/Outlet.
6. Any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor or concerned authorities.

Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Candidate must Studying or passed Bachelors/ Masters in Hotel Management / Home Science / Food Science / Food Technology or allied fields.
2. Candidate should be self-driven in bringing in new ideas/ innovations with available resources and should have problem solving abilities.
3. Candidate must be well-versed with MS Office and Google web applications.

Agenda of Consumer Survey, Awareness & Events Coordination :
1. Supporting the core team in executing various tasting events, sale points, other collaborative activities and blogger/influencer shoot.
2. Preparing questionnaire for conducting consumer perception & feedback survey.
3. Conduction of the survey at various Millet Shakti Cafes/Outlets of Bhubaneswar and nearby region.
4. Collation and analysis of the data collected. Preparation of brief reports.
5. Any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor or concerned authorities.

Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Candidate must Studying or passed MBA in Agri-business / Rural Management / Masters in Public Policy / Development Studies / Social Works or allied fields.
2. Candidate should be self-driven in bringing in new ideas/ innovations with available resources and should have problem solving abilities.
3. Candidate must be well-versed with MS Office and Google web applications.

Agenda of Market Linkage:
1. Supporting the core team in planning and executing different branding, marketing and awareness activities for promotion of millets.
2. Doing rapid assessment for identifying potential opportunities for Millet Shakti products at local markets, catering agencies, and Govt & Pvt institutions.
3. Supporting the core team in executing various social media promotional campaigns.
4. Identifying additional e-commerce opportunities and executing the same for Millet Shakti products by closely working with the concerned WSHGs.
5. Supporting core team in identifying and coordinating export oriented activities for millets
6. Documentation of the different activities being conducted as part of the internship.
7. Any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor or concerned authorities.

Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Candidate must Studying or passed MBA in Marketing / Agri-business / Rural Management or allied fields.
2. Candidate should be self-driven in bringing in new ideas/ innovations with available resources and should have problem solving abilities.
3. Candidate must be well-versed with MS Office and Google web applications.
Languages: Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and Hindi speaking efficiency in Odia is a must.
