Job Description for Program Executive
Job Title: Program Executive
Department: Field Operations
Reports to: Team Leader
Location: Koraput, Odisha
Salary Range: 3.6 LPA with TA/DA and EPF
Job Summary:
The Program Executive will be responsible for the effective implementation, monitoring, and coordination of field-level activities under the assigned project(s). The position requires close engagement with community resource persons (CRPs), farmer-producer organisations (FPOs), and local stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement program activities as per project plans and guidelines.
- Coordinate with field teams, CRPs, and community groups to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
- Facilitate training, awareness, and capacity-building sessions at the community level.
- Collect, verify, and maintain field data and documentation required for project monitoring and reporting.
- Support in preparing monthly/quarterly reports, case studies, and success stories.
- Liaise with local government departments, panchayats, and partner organisations for effective convergence.
- Monitor progress and identify field challenges, suggesting timely solutions to the Team Leader.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, financial guidelines, and donor requirements.
- Participate in periodic review meetings, evaluations, and learning exchanges.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Agriculture, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in development programs, livelihood promotion, or community mobilisation.
- Experience working with FPOs, SHGs, or community-based organisations preferred.
- A good understanding of government livelihood programs (NRLM, MGNREGS, etc.) will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Odia and English (both written and spoken) and communicating in the Tribal Language will be an added advantage.
- Ability to lead and motivate community teams.
- Good documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and digital tools, such as digital data collection.
- Willingness to travel extensively to field locations.
- Strategic thinking with field acumen.
- Result orientation with accountability.
- Negotiation and community management.
- Leadership with community resource person management and mentoring.
- Problem-solving and adaptability.
- Integrity, transparency, and values aligned with community service.
- Should be able to align with the latest technology in the relevant field (Agriculture and Rural-Based).
